The Korean Cultural Center LA(Director Sangwon Jung), in collaboration with the LA branch of the Korea Tourism Organization and King Sejong Institute Center, USA (Director An Hyungmi), hosted the “2025 K-Culture Field Trip to Korea” from April 6 to 12 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korean National Liberation.
Now in its 10th year, this program has welcomed 220 Korean language learners and their families and friends since its inception in 2013. This year, 15 participants—including students, their families, and friends from across the United States—had the meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korean language, culture, and history. This program included visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, hands-on experiences like Korean calligraphy and traditional cooking, a “Nanta” performance, and tours of K-drama filming locations.
The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles will continue to offer programs that allow many Korean language learners, along with their families and friends, to explore, experience, and immerse themselves in Korea's rich and vibrant culture and history.
