Rowers from around the world on the morning of Aug. 30 get off to a strong start at the 12th Korea Open Busan International Dragonboat Festival on the Suyeonggang River around APEC Naru Park in Busan's Haeundae-gu District. Dragon boating is a water leisure sport in which 12-20 rowers race to the beat of a drum. About 350 members of 11 teams from nine countries are participating in the competition, which ends on Aug. 31.
