The official website of Korea House for this year's Paris Summer Olympic Games was opened on July 11.
Hosted by the Korea Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC), the facility will be open from July 25 to Aug. 11 at Maison de la Chimie in the heart of Paris under the concept "Play the K."
Throughout the Summer Olympics, Korea House will showcase Korean culture through programs featuring sports, K-pop, Hansik (traditional food), beauty, tourism and immersive content.
Non-permanent cultural performances there will include those of traditional arts and ballet, along with cheering events for the national team and news conferences for medalists. The facility will also sell Korean food and beverages as well as fan merchandise exclusive to the venue.
Admission to Korea House is free with tickets obtained online. More information on the tickets and programs is available on the facility's website (https://teamkoreahouse.co.kr).
"Korea House will become an important platform to spread the Republic of Korea's sports diplomacy to the world," KSOC Secretary General Yoon Sung-wook said. "I hope for many people to visit and experience the diverse charms of the Republic of Korea."
