On April 16th, the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil launched the first semester of Taekwondo classes at the International Intercultural Center (CII) situated on the campus of the University of São Paulo (USP). Master Lim Yun Cheol, associated with the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, serves as the instructor overseeing the instruction of 40 college students.
"At the CII of USP, there is a Korea Corner, a dedicated space for promoting Korean culture, alongside other areas representing various countries such as Germany, France, and India. The Korea Corner plays a significant role in fostering interest and understanding of Korean culture in Brazil through the competitive education of Taekwondo," stated Director Cheul Hong Kim.
