Artist Lee.K from Sept. 1-4 displayed his illustrations at the Focus Art Fair "Boom" at the underground shopping mall Carrousel du Louvre, which is part of the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The Carrousel du Louvre is a prime venue for conventions and exhibitions in Paris with state-of-the-art facilities and shopping areas. Through an Instagram post, the artist announced that his exhibition there would feature one of his portraits of Jimin from BTS. He has often called the K-pop singer as his favorite muse since 2019 and many of his illustrations feature Jimin.

Several of Lee.K's works featuring Jimin were also used to promote the fair, such as on the flyer the artist posted on Instagram to publicize the event.

Born in 1983, Lee.K is also known as Lee Killust, an artist whose paintings have been shown both in Korea and abroad such as the U.S., Germany, Russia, Portugal and France. He was also named one of "Top 22 artists to watch in 2022" by the website Singulart.

His works express wounds and pain to ease viewers suffering from their own struggles through the use of oil, graphite and ink on canvas or paper. On his personal website leekillust.com, he describes his perception of his art and the meanings behind his projects. He is also active on social media like Instagram, where he posts about his art, exhibition plans and other information.

Unsurprisingly, Lee.K's works at the Carrousel du Louvre drew many art lovers and BTS fans, even from outside of France, over the four-day period and such news went viral on social media. In an Instagram post after the exhibition ended, the artist thanked everyone for their support and trust.
