President Yoon Suk Yeol and President of Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) Alassane Ouattara, who was visiting for the Korea-Africa Summit, on June 3 held a bilateral summit in Seoul and discussed development of diplomatic relations.

President Yoon Suk Yeol and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, who is on an official visit to Korea, on June 2 held a bilateral summit in Seoul. President Yoon expressed hope of finding new and customized development projects contributing to Ethiopia's development through a renewed basic agreement on the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) between both countries worth USD 1 billion from 2024-28.

Both discussed further development of bilateral cooperation, which has grown since the two countries established formal ties in 1992, in diverse sectors.

President Yoon Suk Yeol and Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio, who is on an official visit to Korea to attend the Korea-Africa Summit from June 4-5, on May 31 held a bilateral summit in Seoul. Both leaders signed a memorandum of understanding on a trade and investment promotion framework to diversify items for bilateral trade.

President Yoon Suk Yeol and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, leader of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a state visit to Korea, on May 29 reaffirmed the UAE's pledge of USD 30 billion investment in Korea. They also signed a comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA) and later attended the signing ceremony for 19 accords, memorandums of understanding and letters of intent including the CEPA.

President Yoon Suk Yeol on May 27 hosted the country's ninth trilateral summit with Japan and China at the state guesthouse Yeongbingwan within the former presidential compound of Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul. He and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Chinese Premier Li Qiang agreed to resume holding such summits on a regular basis and restore and normalize their three-way cooperative system.
They pledged to "increase the number of people-to-people exchanges among the three countries to 40 million by 2030" and "designate 2025-2026 as the Year of Cultural Exchange among the three countries."
On climate change, the three leaders agreed to "collaborate with Mongolia on reducing dust and sandstorms in East Asia" and "develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution at its fifth session (INC-5)" slated for November in Busan.

President Yoon Suk Yeol on May 26 hosted a bilateral summit with Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the Office of the President in Seoul. Premier Li arrived in Korea to attend the ninth trilateral summit among Korea, China and Japan.

Both leaders pledged to set up or resume communication channels in diplomacy and national security such as dialogues for diplomacy and national security and 1.5 track and strategic talks between vice foreign ministers.
They also agreed to resume a joint committee on investment cooperation that was suspended in 2011.

President Yoon Suk Yeol on May 26 hosted a bilateral summit with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the office of the President in Seoul. The Japanese leader made a visit to the country to attend the ninth trilateral summit among Korea, Japan and China.

The two leaders pledged to keep strengthening bilateral cooperation and trilateral collaboration with the U.S., closely communicate on regional and global issues, and raise collaboration on the global stage such as through the United Nations Security Council.
To elevate bilateral relations to mark the 60th anniversary of their official ties next year, both sides agreed to prepare projects through communication between diplomatic authorities.

President Yoon Suk Yeol and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Dec. 13 held a joint news conference at the latter's office in The Hague after their bilateral summit and announced their semiconductor alliance.

On the occasion of President Yoon's state visit to the Netherlands, both sides signed three memorandums of understanding and launched three dialogue bodies on semiconductors and economic security.

Korea and the U.K., to mark the 140th anniversary of bilateral ties, have upgraded their diplomatic relations to the level of a "global strategic partnership" and adopted the Downing Street Accord, which focuses on bilateral cooperation methods. 

President Yoon Suk Yeol and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Nov. 22 at their bilateral summit on 10 Downing Street in London held extensive talks on practical methods for bilateral cooperation, regional situations and global issues. To implement the accord, they agreed to promote new cooperation between both sides in national security, economy and a sustainable future.
